# AI Voice Reading

AI Voice Reading turns the parsed article body into natural-sounding audio, so you can listen to your library while commuting, exercising, or doing chores.

  • Long articles as a broadcast: reads from the article text Cubox has parsed.
  • More natural pacing: compared with traditional screen readers, AI voices usually handle pauses, tone, and long sentences in a more human-like way for extended listening.
  • Tied to reading: start from the reader toolbar; the reader follows playback and highlights the current sentence.

# How to use

Open an article in the reader, then start playback from the reader toolbar.

From the playback panel you can:

  • See progress and remaining time
  • Pause and resume
  • Skip forward or back by about 15 seconds
  • Change voice
  • Change reading speed
  • Tap the title to scroll the article to the position being read

Audio can keep playing in the background after you switch apps or lock the screen. Use the system Now Playing controls to pause or seek.

Some voices only support Chinese or English. If playback sounds wrong, try another voice. If nothing plays, check system volume, Bluetooth output, and network.

AI Voice Reading uses cloud synthesis and Cubox AI monthly credits. Check Settings → Account & usage for your balance and rules.
